Cleaning the vehicle is divided into three separate areas:
Inside the cabin
Exterior of the vehicle
Engine compartment
Washing solvents
Ensure sufficient room ventilation.
Wear suitable protective clothing.
Do not use flammable liquids, such as gasoline or diesel.
Compressed air
Work carefully.
Wear safety glasses and protective clothing.
Do not aim the compressed air at the skin or at other people.
Do not use compressed air for cleaning your clothing.
High-pressure cleaner
Cover electric parts.
Do not point the water jet directly at electric parts and damping
material.
Cover the breather filter on the hydraulic oil reservoir and the covers of
the fuel tank and the hydraulic oil reservoir, etc.
Protect the following components from moisture:
- Electrical components (for example the alternator)
- Control devices and seals
- Air intake filters, etc.
Volatile and easily flammable anti-corrosion agents and sprays:
Ensure sufficient ventilation of the premises.
Fire, open flames and smoking is prohibited.
Inside the cabin
Recommended aids:
•Broom
Vacuum cleaner
Moist cloths
•Brush
Water with mild soap solution
On the outside of the vehicle
Recommended aids:
High-pressure cleaner
Steam jet
