If your Wacker Neuson vibratory plate isn't reaching full speed or compacting effectively, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the engine throttle control is fully open and correctly adjusted. If the ground is too wet, allow it to dry before compacting. Inspect the drive belt for looseness or wear, and adjust or replace it as needed, also check the engine mounting bolts are tight. Check the exciter oil level and condition, adding or changing the oil if necessary. Clean or replace the air filter if it's clogged with dust. Finally, verify the engine speed with a tachometer and adjust or repair the engine to run at the correct speed.

If the engine of your Wacker Neuson vibratory plate is running but there's no vibration, the possible causes include: the engine throttle not being open (open the engine throttle); a loose or broken drive belt (adjust or replace the drive belt); a damaged clutch (inspect and replace the clutch); the engine speed being too low (check engine speed); or too much oil in the exciter (adjust oil to correct level).

If your Wacker Neuson vibratory plate jumps or compacts unevenly, it could be due to a ground surface that is too hard or shockmounts that are loose or damaged.
