2. SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
• Be sure to charge the unit completely before its first use. This will prolong the life of
the Brite-Nite Spotlight Lantern.
• Do not turn on the unit in any way while charging. Doing so may damage the
unit and is not covered under warranty. As with all lead-acid cell batteries, when
storing, be sure to recharge the battery fully every 3-6 months to prolong the life of
the battery.
• Though durable and built to last, do not drop the unit excessively as this will greatly
reduce the life of the spotlight.
• Do not submerge the unit under water.
• Lens becomes very hot during operation. Do not touch lens while lens is still hot.
• Do not cover lens during operation.
• Do not shine directly into eyes.
• Turn off the unit and allow it to cool before storage or maintenance.
• When servicing always wear safety glasses when working with hardware.
• Use only supplied chargers.

4. OPERATION
• Spotlight High Setting: Locate toggle switch on the handle of the Brite-Nite Spotlight
Lantern and toggle from “O” to “|” position.
• Spotlight Low Setting: Locate toggle switch on the handle of the Brite-Nite Spotlight
Lantern and toggle from “O” to “II” position.
• LED lantern: Locate the switch at the base of the lamp next to the charging input
jack. Slide switch to turn on.
Important
