Kinks or frays
Proper routing and installation
Check for frays or week spots
Check cable clamps and condition of choker chains and accessories
Correct Mounting
Check all pins for correct installation and lynch pins
PTO shaft for correct length (not too long or short)
Sway bars are correctly adjusted for the application
Winch
Check all pins and lynch pins
Roller chain (drum drive) is correctly adjusted
Clutch adjustment
Proper maintenance and lubrication
