Decommissioning
NOTE!
Contact a specialist workshop if you do not have experience with
the decommissioning of power generators.
If you do not want to use the power generator for a long period of time,
then decommission it. To do this, drain the engine oil and petrol tanks
and conserve the engine.
Clean the power generator (see chapter "Cleaning").
Drain the engine oil (see chapter "Draining the engine oil").
Drain the petrol tank, e. g. using a suitable suction pump.
Remove the spark plug connector
19
with a slight upward turning motion.
Turn the spark plug counter-clockwise using the spark plug spanner
6
.
Apply about 1 ml of engine oil to the spark plug opening, e. g. using a suitable
syringe.
Tighten the spark plug in clockwise direction by hand as far as it goes.
Carefully tighten the spark plug using the spark plug spanner. Do not apply a
lot of force.
Pull the handle
17
two to three times slowly.
Replace the spark plug connector.
The engine is conserved and the power generator can be stored (see chapter
"Storage").
