HOW TO OPERATE:
1. Plug the ethernet cable provided into the base of the unit.
*For Rogue Wave seal the ethernet hole with the white rubber grommet provided*
2. Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the POE (power over ethernet) injector.
3. Plug the power supply into the POE injector (Both lights should show solid green)
4. Plug the POE injector into the ethernet port of a laptop, computer or router.
*When plugging into a router it will be the “internet” port.*
When Using a Router:
1. Connect wirelessly to the router that the Rogue unit is physically connected
to via laptop, tablet or smartphone.
2. Open a browser and at the top URL bar type: 192.168.89.1
3. Once on the interface page of the unit, click on a network and type in a
password if needed.
4. The connection should read “Yes, Yes, Yes.
When connecting directly via Laptop / Computer:
1. Turn o the wireless capability of the laptop (if needed).
2. Open a web browser and at the top URL bar type: 192.168.89.1
3. Once on the interface page of the unit, click on a network and
type in a password if needed.
4. The connection should read “Yes, Yes, Yes”.
***Wave WiFi suggests Initial setup be with a Laptop

NOTE: While the unit’s light-weight, compact, weather resistant design makes it the ideal portable Ethernet converter/Wireless Bridge for
temporary Internet access, prolonged exposure to the elements may cause premature deterioration of the internal circuitry and shorten the
life of the unit. The Unit’s Warranty Policy specically states that the warranty is void if the failure is attributable to misuse, mishandling,
improper installation, alteration (including removing or obliterating labels) and opening or removing external covers.
Laptop Computer
Ethernet end plugs into laptop or router.

Plug the end of the wall
adapter into the input of
the POE
Wall Socket

ethernet base of
Rogue unit. And
ethernet end of POE.

The Rogue Pro has a
screw on 1” - 14
thread base.
(1st) Detach the base
and screw it onto a
mount BEFORE
plugging in the
Ethernet cable.
(2nd) Plug the
ethernet cable into
the ethernet port of
the Rogue.
*Rubber grommet
provided*
Rogue Wave
mount.
Screw on
base.
Be sure when mounting the Rogue on the water that it is
between 15-25ft.
Ensure that the cable run is no longer than 60ft. If you go
beyond 60ft the Rogue may not function.
The Rogue must be mounted vertically.
Do not mount next to Radar.
