How to troubleshoot no power to the WAXIE Other pump or vac motor?
    • C
      Colleen HannaAug 16, 2025
If your WAXIE Other pump or vacuum motor isn't receiving power, there are several things you can check. First, make sure the machine is properly plugged in. Then, verify that the power switch is in the "on" position. Examine the GFCI and reset it if it has tripped. Also, check the building circuit to ensure it's not overloaded and reset if necessary. If these steps don't work, disconnect the power and inspect the switch wires and connections under the panel for any looseness.

Why is there an electrical burning smell coming from my WAXIE Other?
    • C
      Chase GriffinAug 22, 2025
If you notice an electrical burning smell coming from your WAXIE Other, it could be due to worn vacuum motor brushes. If this is the case, remove the vacuum motor and have it repaired. Another possibility is that the vacuum or pump motor is hung up. Try releasing pressure on the hose and jogging the vacuum or pump switch. If that doesn't work, consider replacing the motor.

Why is my WAXIE Other leaving floor streaks?
    • B
      Brandon SalazarAug 31, 2025
If the WAXIE Other is leaving streaks on the floor, it could be due to several reasons. Check the following: 1. Worn blades or wheels: Replace the wheels and/or blades. 2. Squeegee head rotation: Loosen the coupling nut and reposition the head on the groove if it doesn’t easily rotate. 3. Coupling nut tightness: Loosen the coupling nut by 1/2 turn if it’s too tight. 4. Head stability: Replace the head if it won’t stay on the wand. 5. Brass ring wear: Replace the brass ring if it’s worn. 6. Premature blade wear: Check wheels for wear and replace them. 7. Excessive suction: Check wheels for wear and replace them if the unit sucks to the floor too tightly.

Why is the dump hose leaking on my WAXIE Other?
    • G
      George HerringSep 6, 2025
If the dump hose on your WAXIE Other is leaking, it could be due to a cut in the hose. If the leak is less than 4 inches from the tank side, cut the hose and reattach it, or replace the hose entirely. Also, check if the clamp is loose and tighten it. Finally, ensure the dump cap is present; if it's missing, replace it.

What to do if the WAXIE Other dump hose will not empty the tank?
    • K
      Kathleen WhiteSep 9, 2025
If the dump hose on your WAXIE Other will not empty the tank, first ensure that the dump hose cap has been removed. If the cap is off and the tank still won't empty, there may be a clog in the bottom of the tank. Tip the tank to dump the contents and remove any debris.

Why won't the wheels roll on my WAXIE Other, or why are they rubbing?
    • W
      william52Sep 12, 2025
If the wheels on your WAXIE Other won’t roll or are rubbing, start by checking the tire pressure. Inflate the tires to 30 psi if they are flat. Inspect the axle for any debris wrapped around it. Grease the bearings if they are tight. If the wheels are too loose on the axle, remove the wheel and add washers to take up the slack. If the bearings are falling out, replace the bearing assembly.

What to do if there is no water or low pressure from the WAXIE Other pump?
    • J
      Joshua BryantNov 18, 2025
If the WAXIE Other is not providing enough water from the pump or the pressure is low, start by checking if the water tank is full. If it is empty, refill it. Inspect the gun nozzle for any blockages and clean it using an Allen wrench to remove the orifice. If there is air in the pump causing vapor lock, use the power prime technique. Also, ensure the gun orifice isn't missing and replace it if it is. Check and clean the water tank filter and the in-line bowl filter if they are plugged. Make sure the bowl filter lid is tightened gently. Examine the pressure and pulse hoses for damage and repair or replace them if necessary. Tighten or replace any quick disconnects that are leaking. Clear any blockages in the injector by removing the safety cap from the chemical and blowing small amounts of...

    • D
      dallenNov 27, 2025
If your WAXIE Other is not dispensing any chemical, begin by ensuring that the chemical tank is full. If it is empty, refill it. Next, check the safety cap to make sure it is secure and tighten it if necessary. Verify that the chemical valve is in the “on” position. If the safety cap is plugged, replace it. Ensure the spray gun is in the correct mode, with the nozzle pulled out for chemical mode. Inspect the metering tip for any clogs. Clear any blockages in the injector by removing the safety cap from the chemical and blowing small amounts of compressed air into the line. Check for air entering the system around the chemical lines or injector. If you hear fluttering or pulsing while spraying, the injector might be installed backward; remove and reinstall it. Finally, check for and replace...
