      Kathy FischerAug 4, 2025
There might be a couple of reasons why your Weatherdock Transceiver isn't connecting. First, ensure the USB cable is correctly connected. You may need to install the Windows driver for the USB serial interface (FTDI) from the internet. For Windows, select the recommended driver installation. The driver is also available on the CD and will install automatically. Second, the device may not be configured properly. Repeat the configuration process. If issues persist, contact your service partner.

If your Weatherdock Transceiver has no data output, check the connection to ensure it's properly established and the cable colors are correct. Verify that the data output of the easyTRX2S device is connected to the data input of the plotter. Also, confirm that the data rate of the NMEA port of the plotter is correct; the standard value is 38400 baud.

How to fix the 'Entering MMSI not possible' error on Weatherdock easyTRX2S Transceiver?
    • F
      fwaltersAug 23, 2025
The MMSI cannot be programmed twice on your Weatherdock Transceiver. If you are encountering an error that says 'Entering MMSI not possible,' it's likely because the MMSI has been used before. To reset the MMSI, the device must be sent back. Please ask your service partner for detailed information.
