Confirm you have the WEBER CRAFTED Grates and Frame, available for purchase on weber.com.
Make sure that your Grilling Basket is clean and ready to go.
Remove the cooking grate and place the Grilling Basket within the Frame, ensuring handles face left and right.
Place the Spacer between the Grilling Basket and the front of the cookbox.
Preheat your grill for approximately 10-15 minutes with the Grilling Basket in place.
While preheating, oil and season your food according to its recipe, then add it to the grill.
Remove as much food residue from the Grilling Basket as possible before cleaning.
Combine three parts baking soda with one part water to form a paste and apply generously.
Let the paste sit for hours or overnight, then scrub with a non-abrasive brush or sponge.
For stubborn residue, use vinegar over the paste before cleaning for a fizzing reaction.
Clean after each use; dishwasher safe, but handwashing with mild detergent is recommended.
Thoroughly dry the Grilling Basket before storing it.
Stainless steel surface color may change with usage, which is normal and does not affect cooking.
