73 Installation of accessories for manual pressurization of the pilot pressure
Installation of the pneumatic coupling (Pos 4) and control - / bleeding valve (Pos 3)
Î
Screw the pilot pressure port 'P2' of the control - / bleeding valve (Pos. 3) pres-
sure-tight to the pilot pressure port 'P1' of the WEH
®
Connector.
For the tightening torque please refer to the table on Page 16.
Î
Screw the pilot pressure port ‘P1’ of the pneumatic coupling (Pos. 4) pressure-tight
onto the connection port of the pilot pressure line.
For the tightening torque please refer to the table on Page 16.
Installation of the hand slide valve (Pos 6) and, if necessary, the thread extension (Pos 5)
Î
Screw the pilot pressure port 'P2' of the hand slide valve (Pos. 6) pressure-tight to
the pilot pressure port 'P1' of the WEH
®
Connector.
For the tightening torque please refer to the table on Page 16.
Note: For small body sizes where, for reasons of space, the hand slide valve can not
be screwed directly into the pilot pressure port 'P1' of the WEH
®
Connector, a thread
extension (Pos. 5) can be screwed in between. First screw the thread extension to
the hand slide valve, then screw the extension into the connector.
Î
Screw the pilot pressure port ‘P1’ of the hand slide valve (Pos. 6) pressure-tight onto
the connection port of the pilot pressure line.
For the tightening torque please refer to the table on Page 16.
Installation of the Elbow 90°
Î
Screw the pilot pressure port 'P2' of the elbow pressure-tight to the pilot pressure
port 'P1' of the WEH
®
Connector.
For the tightening torque, please refer to the table on Page 16.
Î
Screw the pilot pressure port ‘P1’ of the elbow pressure-tight onto the connection
port of the pilot pressure line, the hand slide valve (Pos. 6) or the control - / bleeding
valve (Pos. 3). For the tightening torque please refer to the table on Page16.
74 Checking the connection for leak tightness
Î
Connect the connector to a closed test piece.
Î
Slowly apply the operating pressure to the connector and media line.
Caution: The test piece must be closed.
Î
Check the connector, the connection to the media line, the connection to the pilot
pressure ports and the connection to the test piece for leak tightness.
Attention: Do not use a leak detection spray that contains ammonia, since this could
cause corrosion of the connector.
