What to do if the fuel nozzle is not shutting off in Weir HYDRAU-FLO HF1105Z0001?
    • S
      Samantha ButlerAug 4, 2025
If the fuel nozzle isn't shutting off in your Weir Industrial Equipment, several factors could be at play. First, the float valve might not be effectively stopping the bleed from the pilot line; ensure its operation is free and that it's not hitting the internal walls of the fuel tank, and inspect the valve seats for any damage or obstructions. A stuck-open piston could also be the culprit, so verify its movement is unhindered. Check for any leakage in the pilot line, replacing parts as needed. Also, ensure the float level isn't set above the breather height; if it is, lower it. Lastly, check the fuel filling valve or float control valve for dislodged Welsch plugs, and securely refit them if necessary.

Why is the fuel nozzle shutting off prematurely in my Weir Industrial Equipment?
    • C
      Collin DennisAug 15, 2025
If the fuel nozzle on your Weir Industrial Equipment is shutting off prematurely, it could be due to several reasons. The nozzle or receiver spring setting might be too low; inspect its condition and rating, replacing it if needed. High back pressure in the filler pipe could also be the cause; ensure there are no excessive restrictions in the fuel flow from the Hydrau-Flo® system to the tank. A blocked breather can also lead to this issue; check and clean it, replacing it if necessary. Additionally, a float valve set too low in the tank could be the problem; adjust it to the desired fill height. Lastly, check the pilot line for any damage, crushes, or kinks that may be causing a restriction; replace the line if necessary.

How to stop fuel from weeping from the breather in Weir HYDRAU-FLO HF1105Z0001?
    • V
      Victoria LambertAug 26, 2025
If fuel is weeping from the breather after filling the tank in your Weir Industrial Equipment, it's likely that the float level is set too high. This doesn't allow enough air space for fuel expansion due to temperature increases. To resolve this, lower the float level setting.
