Usage Features
The heat pump is controlled via a user-friendly interface with several buttons:
- ON/OFF: Powers the unit on or off.
- Unlock: Press for 3 seconds to unlock/lock the screen. The screen automatically locks after 30 seconds of inactivity.
- Speed: Selects between Smart and Silence modes.
- Up / Down: Adjusts the set temperature.
Operating Modes:
- Smart mode (default): Offers 20% to 100% heating capacity with intelligent optimization for fast heating.
- Silence mode: Provides 20% to 80% heating capacity with a sound level 3dB (A) lower than Smart mode, ideal for night use.
Defrosting:
- Auto Defrosting: The defrosting indicator flashes during the process and stops flashing once complete.
- Compulsory Defrosting: Can be initiated by pressing the Speed and Up/Down buttons together for 5 seconds while the heat pump is heating. The indicator will flash. (Note: Intervals should be more than 30 minutes, and the compressor should run for more than 10 minutes).
Safety Precautions:
- The heat pump should only be used to heat pool water, not flammable or turbid liquids.
- Avoid lifting the water union when moving the heat pump to prevent damage to the titanium heat exchanger.
- Do not obstruct the air inlet and outlet.
- Do not insert anything into the inlet or outlet, as this can reduce efficiency or stop operation.
- Avoid using or storing combustible gases or liquids (thinners, paint, fuel) near the unit.
- In case of abnormal circumstances (noises, smells, smoke, electricity leakage), immediately switch off the main power and contact a dealer. Do not attempt self-repair.
- The main power switch should be out of children's reach.
- Cut off power during lightning storms.
Error Codes (not failures):
- E3: No water flow.
- Ed: Anti-Freezing Reminder.
- Eb: Out of the operating range.
- E6: Insufficient water flow or pump blocked.
- ES: Power abnormal.
Maintenance Features
Daily Maintenance:
- Always ensure the water pump is on before starting the heat pump and off after the heat pump is turned off, for extended service life.
- Regularly clean the evaporator with household detergents or clean water. Do NOT use gasoline, thinners, or similar fuels.
- Check bolts, cables, and connections regularly.
Winterizing:
- During winter, when the pool is not in use, cut off the power supply and drain water from the heat pump.
- When operating the heat pump below 2°C, ensure there is always water flow to prevent freezing and potential damage to the titanium heat exchanger.
- To drain water, unscrew the water union of the inlet pipe.
Installation and Repair:
- Installation, removal, and maintenance must be performed by professional personnel according to instructions.
- A gas leakage test is required before and after installation.
- The product must be kept away from fire sources.
- Installation must be in a well-ventilated, open environment, not indoors or in a closed space.
- Vacuum completely before welding; field welding is not allowed and must be done by professional personnel in a maintenance center.
- If gas leakage occurs during installation, stop immediately and return the unit to a professional maintenance center.
- For maintenance or disposal, contact an authorized service center.
- Operators handling gas must be qualified with valid certification.
- Strictly follow manufacturer requirements for maintenance and gas filling; refer to the technical service manual.
Transportation & Storage:
- Sealing is not allowed during transportation.
- Transport goods at a constant speed to avoid sudden acceleration or braking, reducing collision risk.
- The unit must be kept away from fire sources.
- Storage must be in a bright, wide, open, and well-ventilated area, with ventilation equipment required.
