Overview

The SaunaWellness Pro 10 is an infrared sauna designed for personal wellness, featuring a blend of heating technologies, ambient lighting, and natural materials to enhance the sauna experience. It is constructed from Red Canadian Cedar, which is naturally antimicrobial and antibacterial, inhibiting the growth of fungus and environmental allergens. The cedar used is FSC certified, ensuring it comes from acceptable and approved sources.

Function Description:

The primary function of the SaunaWellness Pro 10 is to provide radiant heat therapy. It incorporates a unique heating system that allows users to experience separate wavelengths for fast and even heating. This system includes Carbon Fiber Heaters for a slow and even warmth, ceramic heaters for faster heating, and full-spectrum heaters for near, mid, and far infrared heating. The sauna aims to enrich the user's life and improve their health and fitness through healthy activities and relaxation.

Beyond heating, the sauna offers several integrated features for an enhanced user experience:

  • Ambient Color Light: Each unit includes 10 ambient colorful lights to create a desired atmosphere.
  • Himalayan Pure Ionic Crystal Salt: Four pure salt tiles are inserted in the rear of the sauna, providing clean and refreshing pure salt-air.
  • Jade & Tourmaline Stones: 80 jade stones and 40 tourmaline stones are incorporated into the sauna cabin to help conduct and distribute heat effectively.
  • Oxygen Ionizer (Optional): This accessory refreshes the air inside the sauna by killing odor-causing bacteria and removing airborne particles. It can be set to "Ion" for particle removal during use or "O3" for odor killing after use.
  • Audio System: The sauna features an integrated control panel that supports FM radio, MP3 playback via USB, and Bluetooth connectivity for streaming music or audio from a device.

Important Technical Specifications:

The SaunaWellness Pro 10 is available in different person capacities, each with specific electrical requirements and dimensions:

  • Wood: Canadian Red Cedar.
  • Temperature Range: Room Temperature to 150° F (65°C) (+/-5°F).
  • Operating Environment: Plus 10°C to 40°C, less than 85% relative humidity.
  • Storage Environment: Negative 20°C to 55°C, less than 95% relative humidity.

Electrical Power Requirements (United States and Canada):

  • 2 Person Model: 1860W WATTS, 17 Amps, 110/120 VAC.
  • 3 Person Model: 2470W, 11 Amps, 220 VAC.
  • 4 Person Model: 2750W, 13 Amps, 220V.
  • Dedicated Circuit: Each sauna requires a dedicated circuit when plugged into an outlet, meaning no other appliance should share the circuit. Proper grounding is essential to prevent electrical hazards.

Dimensions:

  • 2 Person Model: 47 inches (W) x 80 inches (H) x 41 inches (L).
  • 3 Person Model: 59 inches (W) x 80 inches (H) x 47 inches (L).
  • 4 Person Model: 70 inches (W) x 80 inches (H) x 47 inches (L).

Usage Features:

The sauna is controlled via an intuitive control panel, allowing users to manage various settings:

  • Power Button: Turns the sauna on or off.
  • Timer/Volume Control: Adjusts the sauna session duration (counts down to 00 and shuts off heaters) and controls the volume for FM/MP3. A continuous working mode can be activated by holding both (+) and (-) buttons, displaying "--" for no time limit.
  • Temperature Control: Increases or decreases the desired sauna temperature. Heaters turn off once the set temperature is reached. These buttons also change FM/MP3 status and select channels/songs. Holding both (+) and (-) buttons in FM mode initiates an FM channel search (takes 2 minutes).
  • Fahrenheit and Celsius Lights: Indicators for the temperature unit. Holding both Temperature Control buttons switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  • Setting Control: Switches between FM and MP3 modes.
  • Lamp and Pause Button: Turns interior and exterior lights on/off. In FM/MP3 mode, this button pauses/unpauses audio.
  • Bluetooth Connected Light: Illuminates when the sauna is in Bluetooth status, indicating readiness for connection to a Bluetooth device.
  • USB Connect Interface: A USB port for playing MP3s or music automatically.

Installation:

Installation requires a minimum of two people due to the size and weight of the panels. The sauna uses two types of panel locking systems:

  • Inner Locking System: Locks are built into the side of each panel, connecting by sliding one over the other for an invisible finish.
  • Latch Locking System: Two brackets lock together by passing a main loop over the opposite side and locking the latch. The process involves placing the floor panel, then installing the rear, left, and right panels, followed by the bench. Finally, the top panel is placed, and all wires for the control panel, temperature sensor, and heaters are connected. The glass door is then installed, requiring at least two people due to its weight.

Precautions during use:

  • Do not use if pregnant, have serious inflammation, fever, communicable disease, acute bleeding, or are intoxicated.
  • Avoid alcohol or drugs during use.
  • Do not splash water on heaters or electrical components.
  • Keep wet towels or harmful substances out of the sauna.
  • Do not install a lock on the sauna.
  • All repairs must be authorized by the supplier to maintain warranty validity.
  • Ensure proper circuitry and plug connections.
  • Install a voltage regulator if power is unsuitable.
  • Do not share the outlet with other electrical appliances.
  • Do not use the sauna for drying clothes or bathing suits.
  • Do not allow animals in the room.
  • After 2 hours of continuous use, shut down for one hour.
  • Individuals on prescription drugs, children, the elderly, those with cardiovascular conditions, chronic conditions affecting sweating, hemophiliacs, or heat sensitivity should consult a physician before use. Pregnant women should also consult a physician.

Maintenance Features:

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygiene of the sauna:

  • Regular Cleaning: Vacuum or sweep the sauna regularly to remove loose dirt. Wipe the bench, floor, and wall panels with a clean, damp (not too wet) towel.
  • Deep Cleaning: For deeper cleaning, use a mild solution of water mixed with baking soda, vinegar, or a non-toxic mild detergent. Lightly scrub the wood with the solution and wipe dry.
  • Drying: Keep the sauna dry and clean. Do not leave towels, water glasses, or bottles inside after use.
  • Exterior and Glass: Wipe the exterior surface with a towel and clean the glass at least once a month.
  • Wood Care: Scratches or scuffs on the exterior can be concealed with furniture polish or oil. Interior blemishes should be left alone. NEVER use varnish or paint on the interior, and avoid treatments with benzene or high alcohol concentration. Outdoor models require regular maintenance (every 6-12 months) by polishing or resealing. If varnish is cracked, sand and re-varnish the affected area, consulting a professional if needed.

Warranty:

The SaunaWellness Pro 10 comes with a standard warranty:

  • Cabinet Wood: Lifetime Limited Warranty (10 years indoors, 5 years outdoors with approved cover).
  • Heaters: Five (5) years.
  • Controls & Electrical: Five (5) years.
  • Accessories/Consumables: No coverage (includes aroma oils, lights, gemstones, salt bricks). A limited 5-year exclusion for natural emitters (salt blocks, jade, tourmaline) if broken without abuse, but not for stones popping out of place. The warranty covers defects in materials, parts, and workmanship when used normally according to the owner's manual. It applies only to the original registered purchaser of a new product from an authorized retailer. Service and labor costs are not included. Defects due to owner abuse, misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modifications are not covered. Warranty claims require the owner to provide detailed information and potentially ship defective parts freight prepaid for evaluation. Replacement parts are provided on an exchange basis, with the owner responsible for inbound freight.
