3.2 Built-in safety systems
The built-in safety devices must be regularly checked and tested by an electrician as described in the table
below.

1. Main switch (power switch)
The moment the main switch is actuated, the
TOPITEC
®
TOUCH is connected to or disconnected from the power
mains. The main switch is located at the mains filter.
Danger
Before carrying out cleaning, maintenance or
repair work, switch off the main switch and also
disconnect the power cord from the mains socket.
2. Power supply
The TOPITEC
®
TOUCH is internally wired to a single-phase,
3-wire supply adapter, with separate protective earth (PE)
conductor (green/yellow).
3. Earthing
The earthing of the electrically conductive components of the
TOPITEC
®
TOUCH must be checked at regular intervals.
Warning
The device owner must ensure that unauthorised persons (i.e. persons who
are not authorised to operate or service the device) are prevented access to
the device.
