6.5 Operating modes
6.5.1 Manual mode for cleaning
To clean the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH, call up the system menu
(tool icon) so that the slide of the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH can be moved by hand.
To clean the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH, proceed as follows:
• Switch on the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH with the main switch at the rear of the device.
• Call up the system menu (tool icon).
• Operate the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH using the menu options.
• Perform a function test (test start).
Note
Before starting production, ensure that there are no objects
(e.g. tools, residual material, etc.) on or near the
TOPITEC
®
TOUCH.
6.5.2 Automatic mode
Automatic mode is the standard mode for production. Enter the formulation
through the touch screen and start the process. When production is completed,
the mixing system automatically returns to its initial position.
6.5.3 Switching on the mixing system
To switch on the mixing system, proceed as follows:
• Connect the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH with the supplied power cable
to a properly earthed power socket.
• Check the power cable for damage (visual inspection) and replace it, if necessary.
• Switch on the main switch.
• The TOPITEC
®
TOUCH mixing system is controlled through the touch screen.
• Start the TOPITEC
®
TOUCH.
