If the jaws of your Westco Industrial Equipment are failing to grip the tubing, consider these possible causes: Improper tong suspension may be the issue. Dull dies can also prevent a good grip, so replace or clean them with a wire brush. A worn brake band can cause grip failure, so replace it. Finally, using an improper jaw size will obviously affect grip, so consult the jaw size charts to ensure you're using the correct size.
