Why are the LEDs not lighting up on my Western Digital Sentinel DS5100 Server?

If the LEDs on your Western Digital Server are not lighting up, ensure the power cord is correctly connected and the wall outlet has power by testing it with another device. Also, confirm the network cable is properly connected to both the WD Sentinel server and the network switch or router, and that the network switch or router has power. Try using a different network cable and port on the network switch or router, temporarily swapping the WD Sentinel’s cable port with a working network device to identify any failing cables and ports.
