What to do if my Westfalia Jacks does not keep the load up?
    • K
      kimkristinAug 5, 2025
If your Westfalia jack isn't holding the load, it might be due to a release valve that isn't fully closed. Ensure the release valve is completely closed by turning the handle clockwise. Alternatively, there could be impurities in the hydraulic system. To resolve this, close the release valve, step on the front wheel, and fully lift the lifting arm by hand. Lower the lifting arm and try again, or bleed the system.

What to do if Westfalia Jacks does not lift up the load to the max height?

      Christina GonzalezAug 12, 2025
If your Westfalia jack isn't lifting the load to its maximum height, it could be due to a low oil level. To fix this, lower the lifting arm and add hydraulic oil until it's approximately 6.4 mm under the seam of the filling plug. Another possible cause is air in the hydraulic system. Try closing the release valve, stepping on the front wheel, and fully lifting the lifting arm by hand. Then, lower the lifting arm slowly and try again, or bleed the system.

Why lifting arm of Westfalia Jacks cannot be lowered completely?
    • P
      Phyllis DunnAug 28, 2025
If the lifting arm of your Westfalia jack cannot be lowered completely, it might be because the oil level is too low. You should lower the lifting arm and fill in hydraulic oil up to approximately 6.4 mm under the seam of the filling plug. Alternatively, the spring might be unhooked or worn. In this case, clean the spring, lubricate all moving parts, and replace any defective parts.

If your Westfalia jack isn't lifting up smoothly, it might be caused by air in the hydraulic system. You can try to fix it by closing the release valve, stepping on the front wheel, and completely lifting the lifting arm with your hand. Then, open the release valve and lower the lifting arm slowly.
