5. Ifthecablebecomeslodgedinthedrain,usesharpdownwardthrustwhilethecableis
turning.Thentryagainwhenthecableisnotturning.
6. Ifthelodgingiscausedbyabendandyouhavedifficultygettingthecabletopassthe
bend,youprobablyneeda
thinnercable.Trytousea3/8”diametercableorevena
smalleroneifnecessary.
Hint:It’softenhelpfultohaveasmallstreamofwaterrunninginthelinetowashthe
debrisawaywhilethemachineisinoperation.
7. Afterthelineisopened,retrievethe
cablefromthedrainlineandpushitbackintothe
drumwhiletheRotationSwitch(SeefigureinPage5)issetintheFORposition.Thisis
importanttopreventthecablefromtanglinginthedrumorintheline.
DonotsettheRotationSwitchinREVwhenpullingthecableoutofthe
drainline.AlwaysrunthemachineinFORrotation,whetheryouarefeedingthecable
intothelineorpullingitout.
Whenthecuttingtoolisnearthedrainopening,takeyourfootoffthe
FootSwitchtostopdrumrotation.Neverretractthecuttingtoolfromdrainwhilecable
isrotating.Thecablecouldwhipandcauseseriousinjury.
