A. Mounting
1. Fit the appropriate tube clamp around the front strut in the desired location. *Note: you
may need to remove bolts connecting the top to the front strut to complete this
step.
2. If a sliding adapter was supplied in your kit, you will need to loosely fasten it to the
sound bar, and then to the round tube clamps installed in step 1.
3. Ensure that the sound bar is in the desired location, then tighten all hardware.
B. Wiring
1. If installing on an electric vehicle, switch it into TOW mode. Carefully remove the
Positive (+) then Negative (-) battery wires.
2. A. If installing on a gas vehicle, wire the Negative (Black) wire to the Negative (-)
battery terminal and the Positive (Red) wire to the Positive (+) battery terminal.
B. If installing on an electric vehicle, wire the Negative (Black) wire to the Ground on
the DC-DC Converter and the Positive (Red) wire to the Positive (+) post on the DC-DC
Converter.
3. Route the thick Blue Input cable to your desired location. The Input cable should be
connected to the appropriate audio output on an external controller, Head Unit, or even
an additional Wet Sounds STEALTH ULTRA Sound Bar.
4. The Thin Blue Remote In wire is to enable the SURGE Sound Bar to be powered on. It
should be connected to the Remote Out lead on an External Controller, Head Unit, or
Stealth ULTRA Sound Bar. The SURGE Sound Bar will NOT power on unless this thin
blue wire receives a +12V turn on signal. The LED Power indicator on the front panel of
the SURGE Sound Bar will light up BLUE indicating that it is powered ON.
5. The STEALTH SURGE Sound Bar has no controls that require adjustment. All volume,
equalization, track +/- and pause functions are done with an External Controller, Head
Unit, or Additional STEALTH ULTRA Sound Bar.
6. Tie up all excess wires and reinstall the Positive (+) then Negative (-) battery wires. If
installing on an electric vehicle, switch it back into RUN mode.
Note: DC-DC Converter is required on electric vehicles to avoid damage to the
accessory and the vehicle.
