Why is my Whirlpool DELX70112 taking so long to dry?

If your Whirlpool Washer is taking too long to dry clothes or the laundry isn't dry enough, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that you've selected the appropriate program for the type of laundry you're drying. The door or bottom filter might be clogged, so clean them as per the care and maintenance instructions. Also, make sure the laundry was spun at the maximum spin speed before drying; if it was below 800 rpm, the water tank could be full. The ideal ambient temperature should be between 15 and 20°C; if it's higher, ventilate the room. Lastly, the “Gentle option” should only be used for small loads.
