- Cleaning Water Filter / Draining Residual Water:
- Switch off and unplug the machine. If a hot wash programme was used, wait for water to cool.
- Remove the kick panel using a screwdriver.
- Place a low, wide container under the water filter to collect residual water.
- Slowly turn the filter counter-clockwise to drain water. Close the filter if the container fills, empty it, and repeat until all water is drained.
- Remove the filter completely by turning it anticlockwise, clean residues under running water.
- Reinsert the filter by turning it clockwise until it goes as far as it can, ensuring the handle is vertical. Test for water tightness by pouring 1 liter of water into the detergent dispenser. Reinstall the plinth.
Transport and Handling
- Never lift the washing machine by holding it at the worktop.
- Before transport: Unplug, close water tap, ensure door and detergent dispenser are closed, disconnect and drain water from inlet and drain hoses, and fix them to prevent damage.
- Crucially, refit the transport bolts (following reverse installation guide instructions) before moving the machine to prevent internal damage.
