How to fix a Whirlpool WRF954CIHV Refrigerator that won't turn on?

First, ensure the refrigerator is properly plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet and not using an extension cord. Check if the outlet has power by plugging in a lamp. Reset any tripped circuit breakers or replace blown fuses. If problems persist, contact an electrician. Also, verify that the refrigerator controls are turned on, referring to the 'Using the Controls' section. If newly installed, allow 24 hours for complete cooling. Note that adjusting to the coldest setting won't accelerate cooling. Finally, check if the refrigerator is in 'Showroom' mode, indicated by 'Showroom' illuminated on the control panel, and disable it as described in the 'Using the Controls' section.
