What to do if the Overload LED is on in my Whistler Group XP1200i?
    • C
      Catherine ThomasJul 27, 2025
The Overload LED on your Whistler Group Inverter might be on due to several reasons: * Your equipment might have a high start-up surge. Try turning the inverter power switch OFF (O) and then ON (l) again until the inverter powers your appliance. Repeat as necessary to get your appliance started. * The battery voltage may be below 10 volts. In this case, recharge or replace the battery. * The equipment being operated draws too much power. Consider using a higher capacity inverter. * The inverter might be too hot (thermal shutdown mode). Allow the inverter to cool, check for adequate ventilation, and reduce the load on the inverter to the rated continuous power output.

Why is the low battery alarm on all the time on my Whistler Group XP1200i?
    • J
      James GrayAug 7, 2025
If the low battery alarm on your Whistler Group Inverter is constantly on, it could be due to a few reasons: * The input voltage might be below 11 volts. Ensure the input voltage stays above 11 volts to maintain regulation. * The battery condition might be poor or weak. If this is the case, replace the battery. * There might be inadequate power being delivered to the inverter, or there's excessive voltage drop. Use a heavier gauge wire and keep the wire length as short as possible.

If you're experiencing TV interference with your Whistler Group Inverter, it may be due to electrical interference from the inverter. Try adding a Ferrite data line onto the TV power cord. This filter is available at electronic supply stores.
