Safety Instructions
1) Never use the product for any purpose other than its original design,
the manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from
improper handling.
2) The thermometer is not waterproof; do not soak it in water or other
liquids, for cleaning and disinfection please follow the instructions in the
Maintenance and Storage section.
3) Keep the forehead thermometer away from sunlight and keep it in a
clean and dry place with temperature between -10 ℃ and 55 ℃ and
humidity below 93%.
4)Do not touch the lens inside the probe with your fingers or any other
objects.
5) The sweat stains on the forehead, hair, hat or scarf, etc., may
compromise the accuracy of measurement, please use it correctly to
ensure accurate measurement.
6) Prior to every measurement, please check whether the glass lens of the
sensor is clean, free from grease, and is not damaged.
7) Do not drop, take hit, disassemble, repair or modify the product.
8) Do not operate the product near strong electrostatic field or strong
magnetic field, in which accuracy of measurement is likely to be
compromised.
9) Please stop using the product if it is malfunctioning. Do not repair by
yourself, contact the supplier directly.
10)Please comply with local regulations when you decide to dispose the
product and/or its batteries.
11)If the product is not used for a long time, please take out the batteries
to avoid battery leak.
12)Please do not mix old and new batteries together to avoid damage
caused by inconsistent discharging characteristics of batteries.
13)When use the thermometer, please make sure the ambient
temperature is in the range of 16℃ ~ 35℃, the accuracy of
measurement is not guaranteed when measuring takes place in
environments with temperature higher or lower than the working
temperature range.
14)If you inform your doctor about the temperature measured, please also
mention that this temperature reading is obtained from a non-contact
infrared thermometer.
15)For tested person age below 1, clinical bias is 0.05℃, clinical standard
deviation is 0.16℃, clinical repeatability is 0.10℃. For age between 1-5,
clinical bias is 0.07 ℃ , clinical standard deviation is 0.13 ℃ , clinical
repeatability is 0.10 ℃ . For age more than 5 clinical bias is 0.08 ℃ ,
clinical standard deviation is 0.15 ℃ , clinical repeatability is 0.08 ℃ .
Average clinical bias is 0.07 ℃ , clinical standard deviation is 0.14 ℃ ,
clinical repeatability is 0.09℃.
16)Between the display range of 35.0 ℃ ~42.0 ℃ , the maximum error
allowed for this thermometer is ±0.2℃, as comparison, the maximum
allowed error for glass thermometer for newborn infants is ± 0.15 ℃ ,
maximum allowed error for other glass thermometer is -0.15℃~0.10℃.
Warning
1) Please make sure the thermometer doesn’t fall in the hands of young
children or persons who cannot operate it themselves. Body
temperature measuring of these people can be carried out by other
personnel.
2) Do not put the batteries on/into fire.
3) The measurement obtained by the thermometer is for reference only.
This product is not a replacement of clinical body temperature
measurements. This product is not and should not be deemed as a
substitute of medical treatments in any way.
