Keys Operation and Setting in Different Modes
1) Press the trigger button once to turn on the device, when the device is
on, press MODE one time to switch between body temperature and
object (material) temperature mode. The default setting is set to body
temperature mode.
2) When the device is on, long press the MODE key for 3 seconds to
display memory data logs. It starts from log number 01, it displays 01,
represents data log no.1, press MEMO one time, it displays the
temperature reading stored with serial number 01 (if no key
operation/input for 2 seconds after “01” is displayed, it autoly displays
the temperature reading stored with serial number 01). When the
reading is displayed, press MEMO once it moves to next memory data
log, and the above procedure applies to all memory data logs. Quickly
press the MEMO key to move to subsequent data logs and
corresponding readings at faster speed. In this mode, long press
MEMO key for 3 seconds, it displays “CLr” on the screen, press SET key
to delete all memory data and exit.
3) When the device is on, long press the MEMO key for 3 seconds, it
displays “CLr” on the LCD, press SET key then the buzzer will sound a
long “Beep” sound and all memory data stored in the device will be
deleted, then the device enters body temperature mode and stand by
to take measure; when the “CLr” is displayed but no input/key
operation in 5 seconds, the device autoly enters the body temperature
mode and no memory data is deleted.
4) In memory mode, if no data has been stored, LCD displays “--“.
5) When the device is on, press SET key one time to enter the setting
mode, it displays “F1”. F1 mode is for setting offset value for body
temperature measurement, the setting range is -0.9 ℃ to 0.9℃ , the
default setting is 0℃, press MEMO key one time, it increased by 0.1℃,
press MODE key one time, it decreased by 0.1℃, when reaching 0.9℃,
it goes back to -0.9 ℃ and start over again, vice versa. After setting
the body temperature offset value, press SET key to save the setting
and enter F2 mode, if no input/key operation for 5 seconds, setting is
autoly saved and the device autoly enters body temperature mode.
6) In F1 mode, press SET key one time, it displays “F2” on the screen. F2
mode is for setting the temperature unit, press MEMO key to switch
between Celsius/Fahrenheit ( ℃ / ℉ ), the default setting is Celsius ℃ ,
press SET key to save the setting and enter F3 mode, if no input/key
operation for 5 seconds, setting is autoly saved and the device autoly
enters the body temperature mode.
7) In F2 mode, press SET key one time, it displays “F3” on the screen, F3
mode is for setting of an alarming temperature value in body
temperature mode, the alarming value can be set between 37℃ to
40 ℃ . In F3 mode, press MEMO key one time, the alarming value
increased by 0.1 ℃, press MODE key one time, it decreased by 0.1℃,
when reaching 40℃, the value goes back to 37℃ and start over again,
vice versa. After setting the alarming value, press SET key one time to
save the setting and enter F4 mode, if no input/key operation for 5
seconds, setting is autoly saved and the device autoly enters body
temperature mode.
8) In F3 mode, press SET key one time, it displays “F4” on the screen, F4
mode is for setting the buzzer on/off, the default is on, press MEMO
