What is the Widex SoundConnect?
The Widex SoundConnect is a discreet, stylish USB
device that can be used for streaming audio directly
from a personal computer (PC) to a hearing aid wearer’s
compatible Widex hearing aids.
Which software applications can the Widex
SoundConnect be used with?
The Widex SoundConnect can be used to stream audio
from any software application with an audio output, for
example: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, and
other music/media players.

* In rare cases, where multiple audio output devices are connected to the
PC, it might be necessary to actively select the Widex SoundConnect as
an audio output device.
How to pair the Widex SoundConnect to
hearing aids

Insert the Widex SoundConnect into the PC/
laptop’s USB port.

Turn the hearing aids o and on to put them into
pairing mode (will stay in pairing mode for three
minutes).

Press and hold the button on the end of the Widex
SoundConnect until the light flashes blue.
Make sure that the hearing aids and Widex
SoundConnect are within approximately 5 feet of
each other.

The light indicator will turn a solid green (dim)
when the pairing is complete.
Light indicators
The meanings of the dierent colors on the LED light
indicator are:
Flashing white Not paired to hearing aids
Flashing blue Pairing mode
Flashing green
Searching for previously paired
hearing aids

Connected to hearing aids, but
