• Handle hot food, water, or other hot liquids in the
rice cooker with extreme caution.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than
its intended use.
• Do not use steel wool or any metallic scouring
pad to clean the electrical pin terminals on either
the appliance or cord set. Metal slivers can reduce
electrical spacing and cause a shock hazard.
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, only cook
food in the removable pot. Do not pour food or
liquid into the outer pan.
• CAUTION: This appliance generates heat and
escaping steam during use. Proper precautions
must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, fires or
other damage to persons or property.
• Do not use the reheat function to reheat cold rice
or other foods.
• Do not leave the plastic Paddle or Measuring Cup
in the inner Pot while on and in use.
• This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the
hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and
its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8
years.
