IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle or thermostat button.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water
or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use or before cleaning the appliance.
6. Never use an appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or which is damaged in any way.
7. Use the appliance under a roof.
8. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including
the stove.
9. Do not place the appliance on or near a gas or electric burner, or other heated oven.
10. To disconnect the appliance, remove plug from wall outlet.
11. Do not use the appliance for things other than for what it was intended.
12. Is the cable damaged, it must be replaced by authorized service personnel.
13. Is there damage to the device or that it does not work, it must be serviced only by authorized
personnel.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged
less than 8 years.

No user-serviceable parts inside.
A short power cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over a
longer cord. An extension cord may be used with care; however, its marked electrical rating should
be at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord should be positioned
such that it does not hang over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over. The electrical rating of this appliance is listed on the appliance’s rating plate.
