Why does my Winco ECU coffee taste bad or burnt?
    • X
      xsawyerAug 9, 2025
If your coffee tastes bad or burnt, it could be due to a few reasons. The unit might not have been properly cleaned between uses; in this case, let the coffee cool, empty the unit, and clean it thoroughly, paying special attention to the heater area at the bottom center. Another reason might be an improper coffee-to-water ratio; try using the guide table for recommended servings or experiment with a different recipe. The coffee may also be too hot. If a thermometer shows it's over 195°F, the thermostat might be faulty, and you should contact Winco.

What to do if my Winco Coffee Maker is not turning on?
    • M
      Matthew BaileyAug 14, 2025
If your Winco Coffee Maker isn't turning on, start by checking that the power supply cord is correctly plugged into the outlet and that the outlet has power. Also, make sure the switch is in the ON position. If the plug, cord, or external wiring is damaged, it should be removed and replaced by an authorized service provider. There also might be an internal wiring fault.

If the faucet on your Winco Coffee Maker is leaking, it's likely due to a leaking seal. Try tightening the inside nut that secures the faucet in place. If that doesn't solve the problem, you may need to replace the leaking seal.

      Lee PetersonAug 25, 2025
If your Winco Coffee Maker is not heating up, and the indicator light isn't on, refer to the "unit is not turning on" section. If the safety thermostat has tripped, turn the unit off, unplug it from the power source, and allow it to cool down. Once it has cooled, plug it back in and turn the power switch on.
