7.4 Maintenance
• Here are some basic maintenance tasks that you can do yourself. Allow your
F820 to cool for at least 1 hour before servicing.
• 7.4.1 Brake system maintenance:
➢ If you brake too abruptly, the cable should be less tight.
• Use the 10mm wrench (not provided).
• Loosen the screw by turning it counter-clockwise.
• Push back the cable slightly towards the
handlebars to "give some slack”.
• Tighten the screw by turning it clockwise.
• Repeat if necessary to fine-tune it
➢ If the braking is too soft, the cable must be
retightened.
• Use the 10 mm wrench (not provided).
• Loosen the screw by turning it counter-clockwise.
• Pull the brake cable back slightly.
• Tighten the screw by turning it counter-clockwise.
• Repeat if necessary to fine-tune it
