This document describes the Wizard Ozone Generator, Lion model, a device designed for air disinfection using ozone. The manual provides comprehensive information on its operating principles, usage, components, maintenance, and safety recommendations.
The Wizard Ozone Generator utilizes a high-frequency system to convert ambient oxygen molecules into ozone through micro-discharge. Ozone, being a highly active form of oxygen, is an efficient disinfectant capable of deactivating various microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi, molds, and spores through oxidation within seconds. It is effective at lower concentrations and requires shorter contact times compared to other disinfectants. The device expels the generated ozone into the environment to perform disinfection.
A key feature of this ozone generator is its integrated carbon filter. Once the disinfection process is complete, this filter aids in the breakdown of ozone molecules, facilitating the re-oxygenation of the room with oxygen (O2) more quickly. This ensures that the disinfected area is safe for re-entry. The use of ozone for air disinfection is highlighted as a highly recommended method due to its effectiveness, rapid decomposition, and status as a natural biocide that leaves no hazardous waste, making it an ecological and sustainable disinfection solution.
The device is equipped with two fans, each providing an air flow rate of 2250 l/min, which enhances both the ozonation and subsequent oxygenation processes. This optimized air circulation ensures efficient distribution of ozone during disinfection and effective removal of ozone residues afterward.
An ozone gauge sensor is incorporated into the generator to measure the concentration of ozone throughout the disinfection process. This sensor plays a crucial role in indicating when the disinfected space, whether a vehicle or a room, is safe to access, typically by a BLUE LED indicator. This feature is vital for user safety, ensuring that ozone levels have returned to acceptable limits before re-entry.
The ozone generator operates by the corona effect, producing ozone from an electrical discharge, commonly referred to as a spark. This spark splits oxygen molecules (O2) found in ambient air into elemental oxygen (O) atoms. These highly reactive oxygen atoms then quickly bond with other oxygen molecules (O2) to form ozone (O3). In a corona discharge ozone generator, this electrical discharge occurs within a specially designed air space inside the corona cell. A dielectric material is used in this air gap to evenly distribute the flow of electrons, maximizing the volume of oxygen converted into ozone.
The device is suitable for a wide range of applications, including the disinfection of viruses and bacteria, and the elimination of odors in various environments. It can be used in all types of vehicles such as cars, vans, and buses, as well as in rooms up to 300m². Its versatility makes it ideal for use in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, residences, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, spas, beauty centers, hairdressers, gyms, and sports centers.
The Wizard Ozone Generator offers both manual operation and pre-programmed cycles for ease of use. To operate the device, it must first be connected to an electrical current (220V AC, 50Hz). It is essential to ensure the equipment is placed on a stable surface before plugging in the connection cable. For optimal disinfection, the device should preferably be positioned in the center of the cabin or room.
Upon pressing the power switch, the device initiates an internal test lasting a few seconds. During this test, a light sweep of GREEN LEDs will be displayed. Once the test is completed, a fixed BLUE LED will remain, indicating readiness.
Users can select a desired program using the "Program" button on the button panel. The button panel features LED indicators (1, 2, 3, 4) that correspond to the selected program. Each program is designed for specific room sizes and durations:
After selecting the program, the "Run" button is pressed to start the operating cycle. A crucial safety feature is the 10-second delay before the ozonation process begins. This security time allows the user to safely leave the room being disinfected. During this delay, the GREEN LEDs will flash.
During the ozonation process, the corresponding GREEN LED lights (e.g., LED 1 for Program 1, LEDs 1 and 2 for Program 2, etc.) will flash quickly. Once the ozonation phase transitions to the oxygenation process (where the carbon filter breaks down ozone), the flashing of the GREEN LEDs will become slow. Upon completion of the entire cycle, a BLUE LED will light up flashing, indicating that the process is finished.
A critical safety warning is emphasized: the ozone generator cannot be used in the presence of people or animals. If entry into the area where the generator is operating is necessary, appropriate protective measures against irritating gases must be observed. The disinfected area must be properly ventilated before use. The device should always be connected to a protected electrical line with a differential of at least 30 mA.
In case of a program error, where the disinfection process stops prematurely, the first LED will remain RED to indicate the error. To resolve this, the device should be turned off and then on again to restart the process. If a strong ozone odor is detected, the room should be aired out immediately. If the error persists, users are advised to consult the manufacturer.
Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and safe operation of the Wizard Ozone Generator. The device should be cleaned using non-abrasive products and always with a damp cloth. It is crucial never to use a spray bottle directly on the device to prevent electronic components from getting wet and causing internal short circuits.
Users are advised not to force the equipment and to always follow the instructions in the manual to ensure safe operation. To disconnect the device, users should avoid pulling the main wire. Instead, it is recommended to inspect the main wire periodically and replace it if any deterioration is observed.
For safety and to preserve the device, it should be unplugged when not in use or during cleaning. Any damaged part of the device should only be replaced by the manufacturer. If the device is disassembled or shows signs of manipulation without the manufacturer's consent, the product warranty will be void.
