SECTION 3 MAINTENANCE

Air Filter and Pre-Cleaner Servicing

Service pre-cleaner every 4 hours, clean air filter/pre-cleaner every 8 hours, replace every 200/2000 hours.

Engine Oil and Filter Checks

Check oil level every 8 hours; change oil and filter after first 50 hours and then every 150-200 hours.

Air Cooling System Cleaning

Wash engine and clean cooling fins/surfaces every 50 hours to remove debris.

Fuel Filter Replacement Schedule

Replace the fuel filter every 100 hours of operation.

Spark Plug Inspection

Inspect spark plugs every 100 hours, cleaning and adjusting gap as needed.

Drive Belt Tension Adjustment

Check drive belt tension after 20 hours and every 50 hours thereafter; adjust as needed.

Alternator Belt Inspection and Adjustment

Check alternator belt tension after 100 hours or if battery charging is poor or belt squeals.

Engine RPM Adjustment

Check and adjust engine RPM (high-end 3650±100, low-end 1200) every 200 hours.
