Store gasoline safely away from flammable materials to prevent serious injury.
Ensure blade is disengaged and area is clear before starting; do not adjust belts while running.
Follow steps for engine start, ensuring tensioner lever is not engaged and blade is clear.
Disengage the tensioner lever to stop the blade, then turn the key to OFF after a brief run.
Service pre-cleaner every 4 hours, clean air filter/pre-cleaner every 8 hours, replace every 200/2000 hours.
Check oil level every 8 hours; change oil and filter after first 50 hours and then every 150-200 hours.
Wash engine and clean cooling fins/surfaces every 50 hours to remove debris.
Replace the fuel filter every 100 hours of operation.
Inspect spark plugs every 100 hours, cleaning and adjusting gap as needed.
Check drive belt tension after 20 hours and every 50 hours thereafter; adjust as needed.
Check alternator belt tension after 100 hours or if battery charging is poor or belt squeals.
Check and adjust engine RPM (high-end 3650±100, low-end 1200) every 200 hours.
