Why does my Woodstock SHOP FOX W1711 Saw machine stall or feel underpowered?

Your Woodstock Saw machine might stall or feel underpowered for several reasons. You may be applying too much pressure to the workpiece; try using a sharper blade and reducing the feed rate. Ensure the power supply voltage is adequate. If the belt is slipping, consider replacing it. Check the power plug and receptacle for proper contact and wiring. Also, verify that the motor connection is correctly wired. Other potential issues include a pulley or sprocket slipping on the shaft, an overheated motor (let it cool and clean the motor fan cover), faulty motor bearings (listen for noise), a faulty run capacitor, a failing contactor, a damaged motor, or a faulty centrifugal switch. Address each of these to restore full power.
