What to do if my Woodstock SHOP FOX W1872 does not start?
- CChristopher SmithJul 29, 2025
If your Woodstock Saw doesn't start, or the fuse/breaker trips right away, there could be several reasons. First, the variable-speed potentiometer might be faulty and needs testing or repair. Second, check if the switch disabling key is removed; if so, install it. Third, the power supply circuit breaker might have tripped, or the fuse blown, so ensure the circuit is correctly sized and free of shorts, then reset the breaker or replace the fuse. Fourth, the power supply voltage or circuit size could be incorrect, so verify they are correct. A faulty circuit board or motor could also be the reason, requiring inspection or replacement/repair.
