Additional safety instructions
• Always assume that the tool contains fasteners. Careless handling of the
tacker can result in unexpected ring of fasteners and personal injury.
• Do not point the tool towards yourself or anyone nearby. Unexpected
triggering will discharge the fastener causing an injury.
• Do not actuate the tool unless the tool is placed rmly against the
workpiece. If the tool is not in contact with the workpiece, the fastener
may be deected away from your target.
• Disconnect the tool from the power source when the fastener jams in the
tool. While removing a jammed fastener, the tacker may be accidentally
activated if it is plugged in.
• Do not use this tacker for fastening electrical cables. It is not designed for
electric cable installation and may damage the insulation of electric cables
thereby causing electric shock or re hazards.
• Always remove the plug from the wall socket whenever the tool is not
being used, before carrying out any maintenance work or changing the
staples or nails.
• Wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in particular
safety goggles and ear defenders, when working with the Electric
Staple Gun.
• Always keep the magazine and all guides free of foreign bodies. Before
using the tool always make sure that there are no foreign bodies in the
magazine or guides.
• Make sure that the tool is kept clean and also that the air vents are free
and clean.
• Never use the tool with staples or nails which are not suitable for it. The
use of other staples and nails may cause injury or damage the tool. Read
the operating instructions for notes on which staples and nails are suitable.
• If the Electric Staple Gun is in use over a long period, the tool may heat up
as it is designed for intermittent operation. After using the tool for a long
period, remove the plug from the wall socket and allow the tool to cool.
• When working with the Electric Staple Gun, keep your ngers and other
body parts away from the stapler head.
