• Regardless of how the cradle is suspended, always make sure that it is at least 50 cm / 20 inch-
es from the oor when not in use, i.e. when the baby is not in it. While in use, i.e. when the baby
is in it, the baby cradle must never come in contact with the oor. Regularly check the number
of springs in relation to your baby’s weight, so that the load is optimally distributed. (See table
p. 45)
• Ensure that the baby cradle is always suspended so it can rotate freely (e.g. is installed on a
swivel). Our frames and ceiling hooks are designed to rotate freely.
• Assembly must be done on a level oor and be carried out by an adult. Any xtures such as
ceiling hooks must be attached by a suitably qualied person. For ceiling installation: It is
necessary to check whether the wall/ceiling provides sufcient structural support. Installation
materials must be selected appropriate to the nature and condition of the wall/ceiling.
• The maximum load capacity of the baby cradle motor incl. hammock is 16kg/35lbs. Please
ensure that the springs are never subjected to a load of more than 16kg/35lbs. For newborns
and toddlers up to two years.
• While in use, make sure the cradle can move freely at all times. It is imperative that obstruc-
tions or dangerous objects above, below and next to the hammock be removed prior to use.
The baby cradle must not be placed near other objects that could pose a risk of suffocation or
strangulation. These can include cords, for instance from curtains or blinds, etc.
• Only use original parts and accessories from Wunderwiege GmbH. Do not make any achanges
or add/remove springs while the baby is in the hammock. For the safety of your child, it is not
permitted to make any alterations to the product.
• Once the baby can sit up without support, baby hammocks may only be used when the baby is
strapped in with the safety belt.
