■ Cover the battery contacts when batteries are
not stored in the charger.
■ If the battery is damaged or not used cor-
rectly, liquids and vapours may escape. If
these liquids come in contact with your eyes,
seek medical attention. If the liquid wets
adjacent objects, the affected parts should be
checked. If vapours escape, introduce fresh
air. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell.
■ Use only the supplied charger and mains
adapter to charge the battery. If chargers are
suitable for a special type of batteries only,
there is a risk of re when they are used with
other batteries.
■ Protect the battery against temperatures
above 50 °C as well as against intense sun
exposure and re.
■ Keep small metal objects such as paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws, bolts away from
batteries which are not being used since these
small metal objects may bridge the contacts.
A short circuit between the contacts of the bat-
teries can cause burns or re.
■ Do not open batteries and protect them
from shocks. Keep them dry and protect them
from frost.
■ Do not dispose of batteries with domestic
waste, do not throw them into re or water.
■ Only use genuine Würth accessories
and spare parts.
