Working safely with the meas-
uring tool is possible only when
the operating instructions and
the safety notes are read com-
pletely and the instructions contained
therein are strictly followed.
The symbols used have the following
meaning:
DANGER:
Operational danger or improper usage that
can cause serious personal injury.
CAUTION:
Operational danger or improper usage that
can lead to minor personal injury, but cause
major material damage, financial loss or en-
vironmental damage.
Danger of blinding by the laser
beam.
Do not look into the laser beam
and do not aim the beam at other
persons or animals.
DANGER:
This measuring tool uses class 2 laser irradi-
ation in accordance with IEC 60825-1:
2001 and FDA 21 CFR Ch. I §1040: 2004. .

Do not look into the laser beam and do
not unnecessarily aim the beam at
other persons or animals. The natural
corneal reflex is not a sufficient protec-
tive measure.

Do not look into the laser beam with
optical aids, such as, e.g., binoculars.
Optical aids can focus the laser beam in
a dangerous manner for the eye.
❏
Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren. They can cause danger to them-
selves and to others.
❏ Never open the device yourself.
The laser
beam is dangerous for the eyes. Have
damages repaired only through an
authorized Würth customer service agent.
CAUTION:

Do not drop the device. Perform check
measurements before carrying out
important measuring tasks. Pay attention
to cleanness of the laser optics.
❏
Protect the device against moisture.
Penetrating moisture damages the elec-
tronics. Always store and transport the
device in its protective case.
❏ Do not remove the instruction label on
the bottom side of the housing.
❏ Do not subject the unit to overly high
temperatures or intense sunlight.
❏ Do not store the unit in cold environ-
ments/locations. When warming up,
condensate can form on the laser-exit
windows and lead to corrosion on the
circuit board.

Use only original Würth accessories.
Usage of accessories that are not rec-
ommended can lead to incorrect meas-
ured values.

The unit is intended for determining and check-
ing precise horizontal and vertical partitions as
well as 90° arrangements and angles.
For damage caused by usage other then in-
tended, the user is responsible.
