Inserting Batteries
Replace the batteries when this symbol
appears in the display.
Use only alkaline batteries.
☞ When not using for longer periods,
remove the batteries to avoid the danger of
corrosion.
Stop/Rest Methods
The following stop/rest methods can be used
with the device:
❏ Measurements from behind off of a level sur-
face ➊.
❏ Measurements from the front off of an edge
(adjust measurement level!)
❏ Measurements off an edge with the stop/rest
angle folded out rectangular ➋.
❏ Measurements out of corners with the stop/
rest angle folded out completely ➌. The de-
vice sets the zero point depending on the po-
sition of the stop/rest angle.
☞ During the measuring procedure, the
optics may not be covered.
Menu Settings
Push and hold this button to activate the
menu. The “UNIT” symbol becomes visi-
ble.
Pushing this button briefly; you are
guided through the functions.
These buttons guide you through
the setting options.
Press this button to leave the menu with-
out storing the settings.
Press and hold to store the new settings.
1. Units for distance measurements
[UNIT]
Select the unit of measure and the indica-
tion accuracy:
* Accuracy 0.1 mm
2. Units for inclination measurements
[UNIT]
3. Setting the Audio Signal [BEEP]
3.1 ON The beep is switched on.
3.2 OFF The beep is switched off.
4. Continuous mode of laser
4.1 ON The laser is activated.
4.2 OFF The laser is switched off.
When the laser is ON a new measurement is
initiated each time the button is pressed.
The automatic shut-off takes place after 15 min-
utes.
