Why state-of-charge and time-to-go readout are not accurate on Xantrex Monitor?

  If the state-of-charge and/or time-to-go readout on your Xantrex Monitor are inaccurate, ensure that all current flows through the shunt, verifying the negative terminal of the battery only contains the wire going to the battery side of the shunt. Also, check the battery capacity in Function F01, CEF in Function F09, Peukert Exponent in Function F10, Battery temperature in Function F11, and Temperature coefficient in Function F12.

How to fix Xantrex Monitor when it doesn’t operate (no display)?

  If your Xantrex Monitor doesn’t operate and shows no display, check the monitor and battery side connections. Also, ensure that the inline fuses are installed and not blown. If the battery is flat (less than 8 VDC), check the battery voltage. You can also try restarting the monitor by removing and then replacing the fuses.

  If the 'CHARGE BATTERY' or 'CHARGE BATTERY FULL' message flashes on your Xantrex Monitor, you should fully charge the battery to synchronize it with the monitor. Also, check the charged parameters in Functions F02, F03, and F04 to ensure they are correctly set.

  If no changes can be made in the setup mode on your Xantrex Battery Monitor, check if the setup-lock is OFF (Function F20). Your monitor might also be locked by the Super-lock. In this case, you’ll need the password from the installer to unlock the monitor using the communication software.
