The XQ-50 Pro is a HIFI Bluetooth audio receiver converter designed to transform your existing audio equipment into a wireless system. At its core, it utilizes Qualcomm's CSR8675 Bluetooth receiver chip, supporting Bluetooth 5.0, which enables it to receive a wide array of audio signals including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX_LL, aptX_HD, and LDAC. This comprehensive codec support ensures high-quality audio transmission from your source device.
One of the primary functions of the XQ-50 Pro is to convert the received Bluetooth signal into high-quality digital audio outputs. This is achieved through the integration of a high-performance CS8406 digital audio converter chip. This chip takes the Bluetooth signal and transforms it into optical fiber and coaxial digital signals, providing a clean and high-definition sound source for external digital decoders. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who wish to integrate the XQ-50 Pro into an existing high-fidelity audio system that relies on external DACs.
Beyond digital output, the device also offers an analog circuit output function. For this purpose, it incorporates a high-performance ES9018K2M DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) internally. This DAC is responsible for converting the Bluetooth signal into an analog signal, which can then be fed directly to a power amplifier, loudspeaker, or Bluetooth speaker. This capability allows users to instantly upgrade their traditional audio equipment, such as power amplifiers or passive speakers, into wireless-enabled systems, eliminating the need for complex wiring setups.
The XQ-50 Pro is designed with user convenience in mind, featuring a 1.3-inch HD OLED screen. This display provides essential information at a glance, including the Bluetooth status, the format and sampling rate of the audio being played, and the name of the current song. This visual feedback enhances the user experience by keeping them informed about the device's operational status.
For connectivity, the device offers multiple output options. A notable design feature is the inclusion of an external high-gain Bluetooth antenna. Operation of the device is straightforward. The power/combination key serves multiple purposes. A long press of 3 seconds will power the device on or off. Upon powering on, the device automatically enters pairing mode, allowing users to easily find and connect to it via their mobile phone's Bluetooth settings (Bluetooth name: XQ-50 Pro). If the unit is not found or cannot connect, a double-click of this button forces it back into pairing mode. During playback, this same key can be pressed to play or pause the current song.
Powering the device is done via a TYPE-C interface, requiring a 5V / 1A (or above) power supply. In the event of an unexpected crash, users can simply unplug and then reconnect the power to reset the machine.
The XQ-50 Pro comes with a set of accessories to facilitate immediate use, including a TYPE-C cable, a Bluetooth antenna, a manual, and a warranty card. This comprehensive package ensures that users have everything they need to set up and enjoy their new wireless audio system.
