The Mi Smart Band 4C is a fitness tracker designed to monitor daily activities and sleeping habits, and measure heart rate. It is intended for use with the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app, which allows users to view and control its various functions.
The device consists of a fitness tracker, a short strap, and a long strap. The fitness tracker itself features a touchscreen, a touch button, a heart rate sensor, and a charging port. The model number can be found on the end of the fitness tracker, without the USB charging plug.
To assemble the band, first insert the USB charging plug of the fitness tracker into the slot of the short strap, ensuring a secure connection. Then, attach the long strap to the other end of the fitness tracker in the same manner.
For accurate data collection, especially for heart rate monitoring, the band should be worn comfortably tightened around the wrist, approximately one-finger width away from the wrist bone. Wearing the straps too loosely may impact the accuracy of the heart rate sensor's data collection.
The Mi Smart Band 4C requires the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app for full functionality. Users need to scan a QR code provided in the manual to download the app. After installation, follow the on-screen instructions to pair the band with a smartphone. It's important to press and hold the touch button to light up the screen on its first use.
To pair, users must sign in to their Mi account in the app and select the corresponding band from the list of Bluetooth devices. The identification code displayed on the band should match the one selected in the app. During the pairing process, ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the phone and keep the phone and band close to each other. Once the band vibrates and displays a pairing request, tap the button on the band to complete the pairing.
Once successfully paired with a smartphone, the band will begin tracking and analyzing daily activities and sleeping habits. To activate the screen, tap the touch button. Users can access various features, including browsing activity data and measuring heart rate, by swiping up or down on the touchscreen. To return to the previous page, swipe right.
To disassemble the band, remove it from the wrist. Hold the fitness tracker and pull the strap downward to detach it.
The band should be charged immediately upon receiving a low battery notification. To charge, remove the short strap to expose the USB charging plug. Then, insert this plug into any standard USB port.
