The Xiaomi UniBlade Trimmer is a personal grooming appliance designed for trimming beards and body hair. It is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion battery and is intended for indoor use by a single individual.

Function Description:

The UniBlade Trimmer's primary function is to trim hair using its trimmer head and an adjustable trimming comb. It supports both wet and dry use, offering flexibility for various grooming routines. The device features an on/off button for operation and a battery level/travel lock indicator to keep users informed about its status. For charging, it utilizes a detachable charging dock that connects to a power adapter.

Usage Features:

Charging: Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the trimmer. A full charge takes approximately six hours and provides about 60 minutes of usage. The trimmer cannot be used while charging. The battery level indicator uses blinking orange for 0-20% charge, blinking white for 20-100% during charging, and solid white for 100% charge. When working, solid white indicates 20-100% charge, blinking orange indicates 10-20%, and rapid blinking orange (three times) indicates less than 10% and inability to turn on. It is advised to fully charge the trimmer at least once every six months if not used for an extended period.
Turning On/Off: The trimmer is turned on or off by pressing the on/off button.
Trimming Comb Adjustment: An adjustable trimming comb can be attached to the trimmer head. Users can turn a knob on the comb to select the desired trimming length.
Shaving: For shaving and grooming, gentle, constant pressure should be applied while moving the trimmer slowly over the skin. For challenging areas like the jaw and neck, shaving against the direction of hair growth is recommended.
Skin Adaptation: It is normal to experience slight skin irritation during the first few uses. Regular use (at least three times per week over a three-week period) is suggested to help the skin adapt.
Travel Lock: The trimmer includes a travel lock feature to prevent accidental activation. To enable the travel lock, press and hold the on/off button for about 2.5 seconds when the trimmer is off. The indicator will blink three times, and the trimmer will vibrate once, signifying the lock is active. When the travel lock is enabled, pressing the on/off button will cause the indicator to blink, but the motor will not start. To disable the travel lock, press and hold the on/off button for about 2.5 seconds again. The indicator will blink three times, and the trimmer will turn on, indicating the lock is disabled.
Wall Mount: The charging dock can be attached to a wall using double-sided tape, allowing for convenient storage and charging. The wall mount should be secure, close to a power outlet, and away from fire and water.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: To maintain optimal performance, the trimmer should be cleaned after each use.
1. Ensure the trimmer is turned off and not charging before cleaning.
2. Remove the adjustable trimming comb and clean any hair from it and the trimmer head.
3. Rinse the trimmer, trimmer head, and adjustable trimming comb with water. The trimmer body meets the IPX7 standard for waterproofing, meaning it can be cleaned with water, but should not be immersed for extended periods. The handheld part can be cleaned with water only after being disconnected from the charging cable.
4. Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling, charging, or using the trimmer again.
Trimmer Head Replacement: It is recommended to replace the trimmer head every six months to ensure good performance.
Battery Care: The trimmer contains a non-replaceable lithium-ion battery. Users should not disassemble, impact, crush, or throw the battery into fire. If severe swelling occurs, discontinue use. Avoid leaving the battery in high-temperature environments.
General Precautions: Do not place or insert foreign objects into the trimmer. Do not modify or repair the trimmer yourself. Do not use damaged trimmer heads or trimming combs. Always check for damage and normal sound before use. Ensure the trimmer head is away from the human body before turning it off. Do not charge the trimmer in humid environments. Do not directly pull the charging cable when plugging or unplugging. If battery leakage occurs and comes into contact with skin, rinse the area with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately. The appliance or battery should not be exposed to excessive temperatures, and care should be taken to prevent short-circuiting of battery terminals by metal objects.
