- Grounding Instructions: The appliance is designed for a nominal 115V circuit and must be properly grounded. It is equipped with an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug that fits into a properly installed and grounded outlet. No adapter should be used.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning the Housing: To maintain the Pet Dryer, wipe the surface of the housing with a damp cloth.
- Cleaning Removable Parts and Filters: Removable parts and filters can be cleaned with water and must be thoroughly dried before reassembling.
- Filter Maintenance: The B-8S has two washable filters: an Inlet Filter and a Motor Filter. The Inlet filter is located on one side of the dryer (opposite the hose side), and the Motor filter is found by opening the rear cover.
- Regular Filter Cleaning: Both filters should be kept clean regularly. Accumulation of hair or dirt on the filters can reduce air output, potentially damaging the motor or causing overheating.
- Never Operate Without Filters: It is crucial to always operate the dryer with both filters in place to ensure proper function and prevent damage.
- Storage: When not in use, unplug the unit and store it in a dry, indoor location, out of reach of children.
Warranty and Service:
The XPOWER B-8S comes with a 1-year limited warranty (USA only) covering defects in material and craftsmanship under normal use. This includes parts, labor, and one-way shipping (non-contiguous states may incur roundtrip freight costs). A purchase receipt is required for warranty claims. The warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, disassembly, alteration, corrosive chemicals, improper voltage, fire, flood, negligence, accident, improper maintenance, or use not in compliance with instructions.
