• Detector runs on external power (e.g. solar,
wind) whenever available, indefinitely.
• Backup module capacities (SuperCaps)
charge on external power whenever
available
• Detector runs on backup module for 12h
without sufficient external power
• If batteries and backup power are
exhausted and no external power is
available, the detector runs on Lithium cells
for a total of 30 days
Thus combining external power and backup
power module allows the battery life
expectancy to multiply
