Grass Trimmer Safety Warnings

General Safety Precautions

Check supply and extension cords for damage. Keep extension cord away from cutting blades. Supervise children.

Safe Operation Practices

Use only in daylight. Never operate with damaged guards. Switch on only when hands are away from cutting head.

Maintenance and Storage

Inspect and maintain regularly. Disconnect from mains before maintenance. Store out of reach of children.

ASSEMBLY

Upper Handle Assembly

Fit the upper handle assembly onto the lower housing and insert as far as possible.

Blade Guard

Turn trimmer upside down. Place guard over cutting head and secure with screws. Never use without guard.

Extension Cord Retainer

Make a loop with cord, push through hole, place onto retainer. Connect socket to trimmer cord.

OPERATION

On/Off Trigger

Depress lock-off button whilst squeezing On/Off switch to turn ON. Release trigger to turn OFF.

Using the Grass Trimmer

Wear eye protection and stout shoes. Start cutting nearest power source. Wait for full speed before cutting.

MAINTENANCE

Fitting and Replacing Blades

Position hole over knob, pull blade outwards to lock. Push blade towards centre to remove.

Cleaning and Storage

Keep air intake clean. Blow air through housing. Never immerse in liquid. Store in dry, frost-free location.

WARRANTY

1 Year Replacement Warranty

Product guaranteed for 12 months for DIY use. Warranty excludes consumable parts like cutting blades.

Warranty Void Conditions

Warranty void if used professionally, on wrong voltage, abused, not maintained, or disassembled.
