DESCRIPTION BEHAVIOR
Joystick detected fault in one of the auxiliary
function buttons, stuck on- (Joystick Node 22)
Specific button at fault, function disabled.
Probable Causes and Test Procedures
1. Verify if the fault still exists.
a. Ensure the handle is returned to neutral (dead center).
b. Actuate all button functions, do all functions work?
YES- fault is intermittent, proceed to step 3.
NO- Note which button/function is at fault and proceed to step 2.
2. Test the button for mechanical failure:
a. Is button the handle physically broken or not releasing?
YES- Proceed to step 2b.
NO- Proceed to step 3.
b. Clean any material from and work the button, does it release?
YES- Retest per step 1.
NO- Handle button physically damaged, replace handle.
3. Is this the only Joystick Error Code or Valve Code present?
YES- Proceed to Step 4.
NO- Troubleshoot any valve and power related codes first, otherwise proceed to step 4.
4. Check button signal through Dash / PC Service Tool:
a. Monitor the button output and ensure it shows OFF "0" when not pressed and ON "1" when
pressed.
YES- Check for stuck / mechanically damaged button as fault may be intermittent.
NO- Internal switch or wiring fault, replace handle.
