DESCRIPTION BEHAVIOR
Joystick detected fault in Hoist Axis Halt Pump, hydraulic functions disabled, Load hold
valve closes.
Probable Causes and Test Procedures
1. Verify if the fault still exists.
a. Ensure the handle is returned to neutral (dead center).
b. Giving lift axis (hoist) does the vehicle move?
YES- Axis fault is intermittent, proceed to step 3.
NO- Proceed to step 2.
2. Is this the only Joystick Error Code present?
YES- Proceed to Step 3.
NO- Troubleshoot any power related codes first, otherwise proceed to step 5.
3. Test the handle for mechanical failure:
a. Is the handle physically broken or not returning to center?
YES- Replace handle.
NO- Proceed to step 4.
4. Check Throttle Axis signal through Dash / PC Service Tool:
a. Monitor the lift output and ensure it moves to +/- 100% from stop to stop.
YES- Proceed to step 4b.
NO- Proceed to step 5.
b. Move the handle (lift axis) to the mechanical stop and apply med pressure, does the fault occur?
YES- Handle hall sensor is going out of range, replace handle.
NO- Problem is intermittent, perform step 5 only.
