  The overall volume might be low because the Master Volume is set too low. To fix this, adjust the [MASTER VOLUME] control to a more appropriate level. Alternatively, ensure headphones aren't plugged into the headphone jack when the SPEAKER switch is in the “NORMAL” position. Also, check that the SPEAKER switch is set to “NORMAL” or “ON”. Finally, verify that Local Control is ON.

  If, when pressing the [SONG SELECT] button on your Yamaha Synthesizer, the SONG SELECT “USB” indicator does not turn on even though a USB storage device is connected, it could be due to device incompatibility or recognition timing. First, check that the device is not damaged. Check that the FILE “LOAD TO USER” indicator flashes after connecting the USB storage device. If the indicator does not flash, the device may be damaged. If the device seems fine, select SONG SELECT “USB” again, as it may take a while for the instrument to recognize the USB storage device. Press the [SONG SELECT] button again to turn the “USB” indicator on.
